If glass panes of windows are not cleaned from time to time, you would see dust spots appearing on them. You can clean the windows from time to time by following the simple process given below.
Clean the window panes with a dry cloth
Take a small piece of dry cloth and clean the window panes with it. This would remove the dust that is already present on the windows. Applying a wet cloth directly would simply spread the present dust on the window pane. Thus, using a dry cloth to wipe it is the correct way.
Dip a clean cloth in window cleaning liquid
To clean the window, using water is not the correct move as it would leave spots after the window has dried. Thus, you should use window cleaning liquid. Dip a clean cloth in window cleaning liquid and apply it on the window panes. Ensure that you have not applied a lot of cleaning liquid.
Dry the window with a clean paper
After cleaning the window, you need to go through a drying process so that stains of wet spots are not left on the panes. Here are the steps that you need to follow to dry the window.
- Take a dry piece of paper. Ensure that it is clean and does not have any kind of moisture on it.
- Wipe the window panes with that paper and make sure that you do not rub the paper on the window. Rubbing the window would result in scratches.
Open the fan for about 15 to 20 minutes so that the panes can dry off completely. To keep them cleaner for a longer time span, try not to touch them with dirty hands and keep kids away from them.
